About the event

About the speaker: Dr. Naizhong Zhang is a scientist at Empa (Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology), where his research focuses on stable isotope geochemistry, with a particular interest in carbonate and methane clumped isotope systems. He received his Ph.D. from the Tokyo Institute of Technology and subsequently held postdoctoral positions at Meiji University and the Earth-Life Science Institute (ELSI) in Tokyo. His current work involves the development and application of laser spectroscopic techniques for rapid and high-sensitivity methane clumped isotope analysis.
