Her research emphasises regional tectonics, structural geology, stratigraphy, and geomorphology, aiming to link a region's seismotectonic framework with its broader regional evolution. Her primary interests include bridging the gap between short- and long-term tectonics and investigating the interaction between surface morphotectonic systems and deep dynamic processes.
